Is that a brick of coke in your pants, or are you just happy to see me?
HAMPTON, N.H. - A 53-year-old Maine man faces a felony drug charge after police say they found a pound of cocaine hidden in his underwear.
According to New Hampshire State Police, Ralph Belmont of Shapleigh was arrested Friday afternoon following a routine traffic stop on Interstate 95.
Police say Belmont and the driver of the car appeared overly nervous, so they searched the car with the consent of the driver.
That's when Trooper John Hennessey noticed a large bulge in Belmont's pants. After getting a search warrant, police allegedly found the cocaine packaged in a plastic bag.
Belmont is being held on $100,000 bail pending a court hearing Monday. The driver was not charged.
