MEREDITH – A Wolfeboro man is facing a reckless conduct charge after skimming his snowmobile on Lake Winnipesaukee amidst heavy boat traffic, the state Marine Patrol said.
Jonathan Miller, 20, was operating the machine on Winnipesaukee at about 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Authorities said Miller, who was wearing a lifejacket and a helmet equipped with a video camera, was pulled from the water after the machine sank.
He was taken to the patrol’s headquarters and booked following the incident, authorities said.
