"Romantic" Rikers Island wedding planned

Remy Ma isn’t going to let her recent jail sentence get in the way of her wedding. The rapper - convicted last month of shooting another woman in a fight over missing cash - is planning a jailhouse marriage to her boyfriend, rapper Papoose. Ma’s lawyer, Ivan Fisher, said last week the couple hopes to marry at the Rikers Island jail before she is sentenced on April 22 at New York State Supreme Court. Ma, whose real name is Remy Smith, was taken into custody March 27 and faces a maximum of 25 years behind bars.
