Police: Men Dressed As Women Shoplifted From Brookfield Store
BROOKFIELD, Wis. -- Police in Brookfield said that three men dressed as women shoplifted merchandise from the intimate apparel area of a department store at the Brookfield Square shopping center.
Police responded Wednesday evening to a report of retail theft in progress at Boston Store.
Store officials told police three men wearing women's clothing, along with makeup and wigs, stuffed items into handbags they were carrying and ran from the store.
Two of the suspects dropped the handbags outside. Police said they recovered $650 worth of merchandise, but they couldn't immediately determine how much merchandise the three had stolen.
The case remains under investigation.
One has to wonder.......did they go back to get the dropped merchandise? Were they wearing lingere at the time? Did they get that teddy they were lusting after?
hmm...
