These “bizarre” reports were on file last week with Murfreesboro Police.

A woman sold a man a 1996 Mercury Sable without a title for $400. Later, the man demanded his money back or he would have her arrested for selling a stolen car. The following week, the woman found signs in her yard stating she would do sexual favors for cash. She believes the car buyer created the signs.

One man angry with his neighbor for playing loud music yelled at her and shook a broom at her. She is afraid he will beat her up one day. Officer Ryan Holobaugh advised her how to obtain arrest warrants.

When a customer presented a bad check at Kroger, she offered to get another form of payment from her car. When the clerk turned his back, the customer grabbed a case of beer valued at $19.74. Officer John Singleton reported she left the check with her name.

A senior citizen was accused of passing a counterfeit $1 bill at Sam’s Club.

A building superintendent reported another builder took two tons of gravel he needed on Splash Place. Officer Matt Harvey reported he talked to the builder who explained he ran out of gravel and needed it to finish a job.
