Man trapped by sofa sipped whiskey

BBC- Joe Galliot, 61, fondly remembers his time being trapped under his sofa for two days. He survived by sipping at a bottle of whisky.

During a power outage he lost his bearings and fell against his sofa. It, in turn, fell on to him. Because of back problems, he was unable to lift the sofa of his fat body.
266 pounds fat. Thankfully, there was a bottle of whiskey within arms reach.

"I took a sip of and thought, well this isn't too bad."

Mr Galliott said he was keeping another bottle of whiskey by the sofa "just in case."
