Together we can ... bobsled?

Now, it is a well-known fact that political campaigns borrow phrases from others that hve been successful - in both the near and distant past. But THIS is interesting.

So, if Barack Obama borrows his campaign lines from Gov. Deval Patrick, who did Patrick borrow his from? Why, Walt Disney! In the justly forgotten 1993 Disney bobsledding romp “Cool Runnings,” an Olympic qualifying scene features a large banner which reads: “Support Our Country . . . Unity Is Strength - Yes, Jamaica, Together We Can.”
point of contention: Cool Runnings is a totally great movie...Forgetting it would never be just.
